Δύσκολη επιλογή. Εγώ (έχοντας δει το King Kong σε πολύ καλό υπολογιστή) θα προτειμούσα το Kameo (ανάμεσα στα δυο που πρότεινες). Αλλά πάλι, αυτό είναι και κατα κάποιο τρόπο προσωπικό γούστο.

και εμενα αυτο εκανε εντυπωση...

συμφωνα με απλους κανονες φυσικης και με πρωτο το νομο της βαρυτητας πιστευω οτι ειναι πιο ανετα για το drive να περιστρεφει
το δισκακι οταν ειναι οριζοντια η κονσολα !!!

Εγω εχω ενα Samsung DVD Player με DVI εξοδο καρφωμενο στη plasma μου και κανει upscale ολες τις ταινειες σε 1080i. Σιγα μην εβλεπα DVD στο 360!

The Quality of XBOX360 DVD Player

An Arstechnica writer has posted a small piece of the Xbox 360 DVD player. While he says it has progressive scan, the quality needs more looking into...

I'm giving my 360 a proper going over getting ready for the official Ars review, and one thing we haven't talked about yet on the journals is the DVD player. Unlike the first Xbox, the 360 will play DVDs right out of the box, and the wireless controllers make a handy remote if you don't have the premium pack.

I've thrown a few discs at it, with mixed results. The good news is that it is a progressive scan DVD player, and so far it has played every burned DVD I've thrown at it. The bad news is the video quality just isn't that great. On Episode 3 it looked decent, but my Samsung progressive player blew it out of the water. On other discs I noticed so very apparent dithering and artifacts in the black areas of the screen.
While it's a nice bonus, don't expect this to replace a good DVD

A supposed Xbox 360 BETA tester has made available a list of ways to crash the Xbox 360 - not something you really want to do, but interesting all the same I guess.

Games
Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland
Described as the most problematic of the launch titles, the Micromole says you can nearly always cause a crash with a well-timed pause. Early in the game, in Beverly Hills he believes, you come across a tagger guy doing graffiti. Go and talk to that guy one time, wait until he disappears and shows up in another part of town. If you pause the game right after you hit the button to talk to the tagger, the game will crash every time.

Madden 2006
The game has problems playing on Live, according to the Mole and some consoles and hard drive configurations would not download roster updates correctly for the footballer.

Halo
Try this game of profile hide-and-seek. Create a profile with the hard drive attached. During gameplay remove the hard drive and the 360 will reboot. Reattach the hard drive again and the system will reboot for a third time. Look for your profile saved onto Hard Drive, it will often disappear.


Hardware

Guide Button
Try pushing the big silver button during a game’s load screen, this can cause your system to lock-up. Try it during Project Gotham Racing 3 and see what happens.

DVD Drive
Unrecognized DVDs should display a message that says the disc is unrecognized, but often doesn’t.
Moving your 360 during gameplay may lead to the scratching of discs.
Playing of console horizontally is not advised and could lead to scratching of discs.
